A research on insects life creating an artistic ritual combined in an audiovisual performance as well as an insect research.
Based on the research of finding a visual interpretation on the process of metamorphosis a visual has been developed that reminds ourselves of the shape of a cocoon. With the graphic side set a visual world has been created in Unity that leads us through a first impression of the performance piece.
Between the roots and treetops lies a unique ecosystem populated by all kinds of animals and plants. This summer, Symbiotic Lab is transforming the 19th century garden monument into a field of artistic experimentation that invites you to look at the landscape with new eyes!
A research on the interference of technical and natural phenomenons. Defining borders. Defining realities.

BIOPHILIA
Through a visual and scientific research on the natural materiality of stones digital scans have been collected to unwrap the transformative behavior of a stones composition of form and materiality.
An arts and science residency in jena made a cooperation with the Hans-Knöll Institute possible. During this time a further research in the fields of computersciences has been developed.
I've been researching for a while now on natural shapes and the connection of technical aesthetics. Further more on the complication of the visualization of naturalness in digital media. Between haptics, extansions and translations – melting the two gives us what? The digital nature or the natural techniques. One influenced by the other?
__The biophilia hypothesis proclaims a human dependence on nature that goes far beyond simple questions of material and physical sustenance.
__The (un)-natural observation and recording of our nature can be explored in a multimedia way. Our natural perception is clouded, expanded and mystified by the digital space. Our gaze is turned away from the natural.

While being away hiking around in Harz experiencing some fascinating natural stone sculptures. Creative processes and my fascination for abstract material never stops so I started scanning all these different stone textures and combined them in a visual coded system.
Natural artifacts have been combined through a once trained neural network. A new environmental aesthetic or a new persepective on natural objects has been exermined.
A graphic tool based on the symbiosis of gradial colors and shapes. Through an interface it is possible to interact with the system and create your realtime moving image.
Poster and calligraphic element for —> De Profundis by Pascal Marcel Dreier @psclmd The exhibition is curated by Leonie Fischer @leoni504 from Symbiotic Lab @symbioticlab_

As we navigate through the labyrinthine recesses of "Artificial Archéology", we become participants in an all-encompassing discourse that explores the enigmatic relationship between time and space. The piece takes us to a place where temporal boundaries dissolve, artificial time crumbles before our eyes and reveals the limitless possibilities that lie beyond the physical body.
The Chopped Off Head Magazine is a fashion magazine, an artist book and an artwork. The title of the project was inspired by the thought of these artists chopping their own heads off to give the viewer an insight into a world only existing in their minds.
Sound through the body and the mind. An interdiciplinary symbiosis of sound, visual and nature itself.
Isolation and emotional as well as body perceptive connections come to ourselves while listening to sounds. For this piece a one hour video art work has been filmed and then decoded. Colours merge into another. A body driven by its surrounding sounds.
